Ashley Wysocki, a Republican district court judge in Dallas County, is running for Place 8 on the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election.

This candidacy is listed in the Texas secretary of state’s official November 3, 2026 certification for Collin County.

Wysocki was named a Texas Monthly Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2013 to 2018, according to Texas Judges. She is a frequent guest speaker on child welfare continuing legal education and a guest lecturer at the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic at SMU, according to Texas Judges.

It was here where I really felt a connection to the diverse community I serve, from running around on the ground investigating international students being exploited for overpriced housing to amplifying those same students who have been able to find peace and confidence in the city's growing Hip Hop scene. I've had the opportunity to interview major celebrities, government officials, businesses, and creators, but what I enjoy most of all is being a contradicting human being because this truth is what allows me to pick and produce real stories that give a community true knowledge of their contradicting human being selves too.
