A McKinney dental practice is expanding into Allen with a $267,058 build-out at 1421 Ridgeview Drive.

Vital Dental filed a permit Sept. 4 with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to convert 1,941 square feet of shell space into a dental clinic at Suite 104, according to the state filing.

Construction is scheduled to start Oct. 5 and finish Jan. 8, 2027. The permit's status as of Sept. 17 is "Project Registered."

The project sits inside Alma Ridge Retail, a 17,000-square-foot multi-tenant retail development on the west side of Allen, according to a Matthews Real Estate listing for the property. Matthews describes it as one of the few new retail developments on Allen's west side. The building's shell was estimated for delivery in September 2026. Vital Dental's interior renovation is a separate phase.

Community Impact Newspaper first reported the expansion, citing a company representative who confirmed the Allen location. The practice offers cleanings, pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, tooth extraction and orthodontics, according to Community Impact, citing the practice's website. Vital Dental also provides dental implants, porcelain veneers, sedation dentistry, endodontics and oral surgery, according to its website.

Dr. Asad Ahsan, the dentist behind Vital Dental, has more than 15 years of experience. He earned his dental surgery degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee and completed a residency at Jacobi Hospital in New York. The practice's existing office is at 5101 McKinney Ranch Parkway, Suite 170, in McKinney.

The TDLR permit lists the property owner as Emir Investments LLC, based in Plano. Chad Jordan filed the permit on behalf of the project. The build-out is privately funded, according to the filing.

Vital Dental's website lists Spanish-speaking staff and evening and Saturday hours at its McKinney location. The practice accepts most insurance plans and offers financing through CareCredit, LendingClub and Cherry, the website states. Whether the Allen office will keep the same schedule and options has not been announced.

No opening date has been set. The permit's Jan. 8, 2027, completion date covers construction only.
