Timberland opened its doors at Allen Premium Outlets on Friday, Aug. 14, adding another national footwear brand to the US-75 corridor shopping center during a summer of new tenant arrivals.

The store at 820 W. Stacy Road, Suite 428, sits next to Bath & Body Works and sells shoes, clothing and outdoor essentials for men, women, and children.

The city of Allen issued a commercial building alteration permit for the suite on June 11, valuing the project at $350,000, according to city building records. The permit, filed by applicant Hillary Gerber, covered new partitions, fixtures, finishes, lighting, plumbing, mechanical systems and storefront work for the 3,997-square-foot space.

Timberland joins a growing roster of tenants filling suites at the outlet mall this summer. Racing Miami, a motorsports merchandise retailer, opened by Aug. 6, and Birkenstock announced plans in June to open its first Dallas-Fort Worth storefront at the center. Allen Premium Outlets already hosts several footwear retailers including HeyDude, Adidas Outlet, Journeys and Shoe Palace.

Hot Topic has filed permits for a nearly 3,000-square-foot store in Suite 610, with construction scheduled from Sept. 1 through Dec. 1 at an estimated cost of $180,000.
