Experience and public service
Reichek has served as an appeals court justice on the Fifth District Court of Appeals, Place 10, since 2019, according to BallotReady. She said on her campaign website that she has authored more than 500 appellate opinions during her time on the court.
Before joining the bench, Reichek ran her own practice, The Reichek Firm, from 2009 to 2015, according to BallotReady. She is also listed as of counsel at the litigation firm Tillotson Patton.
Earlier in her career, Reichek said she served as a law clerk at Texas Rural Legal Aid and at the Houston Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO. She said she chairs the appellate section of the Dallas Bar Association.
