Experience and priorities
On his official campaign website, Snider describes himself as a mechanical contractor with nearly four decades of experience in the trades, managing projects and dealing with government regulations.
He says state lands and mineral rights should be managed efficiently and transparently to maximize revenue for taxpayers and public schools, or sold. He supports responsible energy production, fair leasing practices and reducing wasteful spending within the General Land Office.
Snider argues that the office should concentrate on its core responsibilities, respect private property rights and avoid political favoritism. These proposals come from his own campaign materials; they are not submitted Surround Sound Media questionnaire responses.
