Justice Scott Field runs for 15th appeals court seat

Scott Field, a Republican, is running for Texas Appeals Court Justice, District 15, Place 2, in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. Allen voters will see this statewide court race on their ballots.

This candidacy is listed in the Texas secretary of state’s official November 3, 2026 certification for Collin County.

Field has served as a justice on the 15th Court of Appeals since 2024, according to his judicial biography on the Texas Courts website. He is certified for the ballot, according to the Texas Secretary of State.

Field said on his campaign website that as a judge, he believes in "applying the law as written—not rewriting it to fit personal views or political outcomes."
