A 17,000-square-foot coworking space, a motorsports merchandise retailer and downtown Allen's first mural are among nearly a dozen business moves reshaping the city's commercial corridors.
HQ opens at The Asher
HQ, a coworking and office-space brand developed by Regus and part of the International Workplace Group network, opened Aug. 3 at 400 N. Allen Drive, Suites 104–107. The space occupies about 17,000 square feet inside The Asher, a business center developed by Gillett Commercial.
Racing Miami lands at Allen Premium Outlets
Racing Miami, a motorsports merchandise retailer with locations in Florida, California and Europe, is now open at Allen Premium Outlets. No exact opening date has been disclosed.
Gorjana jewelry coming to Watters Creek
Gorjana, a jewelry retailer with existing North Texas locations in Southlake and Plano, plans to open at 843 Watters Creek Blvd. in the fourth quarter of 2026. The storefront sits across from Grimaldi's Pizzeria and next to Ann Taylor Loft.
'Wings of Allen' mural debuts downtown
McKinney-based artist Andrea Holmes completed "Wings of Allen," downtown Allen's first mural, in early July. The piece is the eighth in Holmes's 100-piece bird series and features an eagle, bluebonnets and coneflowers representing the city and region.
It's located at Chloe Mae Studios, whose co-owner Jennifer Seibert was one of Holmes's professors at Collin College.
"I love the idea that just some paint can totally transform an area, and it can become a landmark for a place," Holmes told Community Impact in late July.
Chloe Mae Studios hosted a mural reveal and reception Aug. 8.
Milestones and moves
JaRyCo Development, an Allen-based real estate developer behind Twin Creeks Medical Center, Twin Creeks Rehab and The Farm, marked 25 years in business July 1.
Louis G. Jewelry, founded by Nabeel Louis Nasr and located in Watters Creek Village, is celebrating its first anniversary in Allen in August.
The Muggle Hut, a Harry Potter-themed apparel and accessories shop owned by Michael Dooley, relocated to a booth inside Lone Star Mercantile in Allen after its previous location at Painted Tree Boutique in Frisco closed in April.
Closings
Trendica, an apparel and accessories shop at Allen Premium Outlets, is closing by the end of summer 2026, according to a company representative.
Pie Five Pizza has permanently closed its Allen restaurant; other North Texas locations remain in Frisco, Arlington and Fort Worth.
Gorjana's debut at Watters Creek, expected in the fourth quarter, is the next confirmed opening on Allen's retail calendar.
