A sports memorabilia and trading card shop called Collector's Edition plans to open Oct. 1 at Allen Premium Outlets, according to Community Impact.
The store will occupy Suite 310 at 820 W. Stacy Road, next to the Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop, which opened at the outlets in mid-March. The company announced the opening date on its social media pages.
It would be the first collectibles and sports memorabilia specialty retailer at Allen Premium Outlets.
Collector's Edition will carry sports memorabilia, jerseys, trading cards and anime figures.
Hoodline reported the inventory also includes Funko Pops, Pokémon cards, Magic: The Gathering cards, Marvel and DC collectibles, wrestling merchandise and sealed wax packs.
The store appears to be relocating from The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, Hoodline reported.
That mall set an Aug. 31 deadline for tenants to vacate ahead of a planned demolition tied to a roughly $3 billion mixed-use redevelopment.
Plano City Council approved a nonbinding letter of intent on June 8 from Dallas Sports & Entertainment LP, the Dallas Stars' parent company, for a new arena district at the Willow Bend site.
Plano Economic Director Michael Talley said demolition is expected to begin in early 2027.
"If you look at Willow Bend Mall now, it's basically dead," Plano City Council member Rick Horne said at the June 8 meeting.
The opening adds Collector's Edition to the tenant lineup at Allen Premium Outlets, which has more than 120 stores. Racing Miami, a motorsports merchandise retailer, opened there in August.
Hot Topic has filed construction permits for a nearly 3,000-square-foot location in Suite 610, with construction running Sept. 1 through Dec. 1.
Store hours and grand opening event details for Collector's Edition have not been announced.
