A Plano acupuncture clinic is expanding into Allen with a $150,000 build-out on West McDermott Drive, marking the business's first location in the city.
Beyond Acupuncture is finishing out a 1,320-square-foot shell space at 1511 W. McDermott Drive, Suite 230, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. The project, registered April 22, listed a construction start date of May 15 and a target completion of July 15.
That target has passed. The TDLR filing's status shows "Review Complete," but the clinic has not publicly announced whether the build-out is finished or when it plans to open.
Mira Jung, a licensed acupuncturist, diplomate of Oriental Medicine and registered nurse, is listed as the owner contact on the filing under Golden Rooster Holdings LLC. Jung also operates Beyond Acupuncture's existing location at 5501 Independence Parkway, Suite 312, in Plano, according to the business's website.
The Allen project is classified as a renovation and alteration of an existing lease space. Ward Architecture PLLC of Colleyville designed the build-out.
Community Impact first reported the expansion June 23, noting the business "offers acupuncture services" at its Plano location.
