Allen routed Princeton 65-7 at Eagle Stadium on Friday, Sept. 25, rolling to a 5-0 record on Homecoming night.
The Eagles led 51-0 at halftime.
Running back Lyndon Spriggs scored three touchdowns. He caught a 24-yard pass from sophomore quarterback Ty Snell in the first quarter, added a 10-yard score in the second and hauled in another Snell pass from 13 yards out before the break.
Fellow running back KP Jackson scored twice. He found the end zone on a 10-yard pass play from Spriggs in the first quarter, then ripped off an 80-yard scoring run in the third that made it 58-0.
Jrue Simmons opened the scoring with a 27-yard rushing touchdown. Wide receiver Josyah Johnson broke free for a 70-yard score in the second quarter, and wide receiver Cylas Siciliano added a touchdown catch from Snell. Allen also recorded a safety in the second quarter. Quarterback Devorian Hambric capped the night with a 7-yard touchdown run in the fourth, according to The Eagle Angle, Allen High School's student newspaper.
Princeton's Aidan Lanier scored the Panthers' lone touchdown on a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter. Kicker Sam Smado converted seven extra points in the first half before Mason Arroyo handled duties in the second.
The win was Allen's fourth straight game scoring 50 or more points, according to VYPE DFW, which ranked the Eagles No. 1 in its combined 6A-4A rankings heading into the Princeton game. Allen has won every game this season by at least 19 points, with victories over Duncanville, DeSoto, Southlake Carroll, Prosper and now Princeton.
Head coach Lee Wiginton has pointed to his team's depth all season. After Allen's 50-6 win over DeSoto on Sept. 4, Wiginton said in an Allen ISD recap, "It was just one of those really complete victories … A lot of guys got out there on the field."
That description fit the Homecoming game just as well. Allen used at least two quarterbacks and spread touches across running backs and receivers throughout the night.
Before kickoff, Allen High School announced its 2026 Homecoming court. The senior court included Avery Woolley, Franchesca Hadome, Reagan Burns, Patrick Baril, Arshia Bajaj, Nichelle Markland and Elora Sams-Bell. Homecoming King and Queen were scheduled to be crowned at the Homecoming dance Saturday, Sept. 26.
Allen moves to 2-0 in District 6-6A. The Eagles' next district game is against McKinney, per MaxPreps. McKinney enters at 1-4.
